Gold on silver earrings are all electro gold plated using 2 microns gold. They are made in a workshop in Sitapura just outside Jaipur by master silversmiths to the finest standards. The silversmiths have really fine working condition and are paid really well. There is definately no child labour. We controll this ourselves. All stones used are cut and polished on site, also by master craftsmen we do not use factory cut stone from China because we believe that to get the best out of a stone one needs to see each stone individually and not see it as one on a conveyor belt! Our stones may be a little expensive but the result is a work of love and that is most important when you are going to put it on your body. The stone cutters are traditionally Muslim craftsmens who have had their profession passed down from father to son for generation although in modern India things are changing and quite a few Hindus are working in this profession.
