Sorry folk,
Our transport costs from india are at this moment really high and we have had to price the new shipment a little higher. Please dont blame me, It is out of my power to do very much .Please put the blame on the people who have created this situation worldwide. Remember we the people when we pull together can achieve so much.
We like to vary our collection as much as possible to reflect the rich heritage of embellishment that India has to offer. We always have some handprinted bedsheets in stock but we do like to vary the techniques that we sell. To name a few: blockprints from Sanganer and Bagru in Radjasthan and Ajrak prints from Gujarat. Sometimes we have Kalamkari prints from Andhra Pradesh. Ikat textiles from Odisha are also occasionally featured in our collection! Gudri stitching is a very ancient method of turning old saris into bedcovers for the cold winter nights. Layers of old saris are stitched together with rows of running stitches.
