These bedspreads are made using a centuaries old technique called Gudri in Rajesthan where they are made. Originally village ladies would sit together in the afternoon and sew their old saris together to make nice thick blankets for the winter. To do this they layered the saris on top of each other and sew them together with long parallel lines of running stitchs. .
Since then these traditional bedspreads have received an update by using lovely printed cottons. which will enhance any bedroom, and keep you snug at the same time.
You can even use them as a throw on your bank to keep you warm when you are watching movies on the tv. Or use it to protect your sofa from your kids and pets
